Problem: trying to post and getting a posting date error?
Your first instinct, and a good one, is to check the General Ledger Setup’s allow posting from and allow posting to dates….
It looks fine but you’re still getting the error! Why are you still getting this error?
The answer might be the User Setup’s allow posting from and to dates.
The user’s setup could be causing the posting error issue.
Recommendation: only have posting date ranges for users that will need to work in prior months, such as your accounting team.
